A collection of dresses once worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, will go up for auction this December in Beverly Hills, California. The gowns, most of which were designed by Diana’s favorite designer (and personal couturier for years) Catherine Walker, were previously auctioned in 1997 by the Princess herself.

They’ll now return to be bid upon once again, with one particular dress expected to sell for up to $100,000. The dresses will be sold by Julien’s Auctions and while some dresses are valued between $60,000-$80,000, we wouldn’t be surprised to see them fetch much more.

When auctioned in June 1997, the dresses were sold by Christie’s in London just a month before Diana’s tragic passing. Also included in December’s sale are cufflinks from Diana’s wedding to the Prince of Wales, as well as some items from William and Kate’s wedding in 2011. A piece of the Cambridges’ wedding cake (probably NOT one you’ll want to eat) in a commemorative tin, as well as a blank invitation to their wedding is expected to sell for up to $4,000.
